Microsoft released the mobile app for Advanced WMS on Dynamics 365 for Operations (formerly Dynamics AX) on January 20, 2017. I had a chance to install and test on my Samsung Galaxy S7, and think this is a great addition for D365! Think of the RF simulator that is available for D365 WMS, formatted for a mobile device.

When the user clicks on the app, a login prompt screen appears, showing the logo that is applied to the Entity that is being used.

After providing credentials, the user is directed to the familiar WMS main menu – the same that would appear on a RF mobile device.

Clicking on the Inbound takes the user to the inbound options menu.

Clicking on Purchase Receive takes the user to the details screens and prompts the user for Purchase Order number, which could be scanned, typed from the device keyboard, or from a keyboard form in this app. The Purchase Receipt proceeds in the same way the RF mobile device does: P/O Number, Item Number, Quantity, etc.
Prompts are clear and familiar. Error messages are clearly presented (as shown in the screenshot below). Exceptions are supported.
