Rick Herbst, partner-in-charge, has over 20 years of experience in general management, strategy and consulting. Prior to joining Sikich, Rick was a general manager and vice president of a North American e-commerce unit and was also a partner in a strategy consulting group, where he led global e-commerce strategy and the central region information technology, high-tech and telecommunications strategy practices. Rick is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a Series 24 General Securities Principal, a Series 7 General Securities Representative, a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative and a Series 99 Operations Professional.

Kurt Estes, partner, has over 25 years of experience and is currently responsible for leading M&A activities for Sikich and supporting the execution of acquisitions throughout the year. He is also a senior member of the firm’s investment banking practice, where he provides leadership to the teams that facilitate client M&A activity. He is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a Series 24 General Securities Principal, a Series 7 General Securities Representative, a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative, and a Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent.

Joe O’Neill, managing director, has over 25 years of experience in developing and growing businesses throughout the world. Today, his work is focused on investment banking for high-growth technology companies. Prior to joining Sikich, Joe specialized in mobile and wireless technology, mobile payment, clean-tech, social media, social networking and enterprise software. Joe is a published author and industry speaker, and is registered with FINRA as a Series 7 General Securities Representative and a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.

Susan Tomilo, managing director, has over 15 years of experience in strategy, general management and consulting roles advising public and private companies in high technology, software and healthcare industries. In her current role, Susan leads the Healthcare and Life Science Practice and buy-side efforts. Susan was previously a Director at a boutique investment bank, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory for privately held companies and Venture Funds. Susan is registered with FINRA as a Series 7 General Securities Representative and a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.

Evan Anderson, director, manages select advisory engagements where Intellectual Property (IP) may be a company’s raison d’être. Evan draws from years of experience from earlier careers leading sell-side IP transactions and as an investment banker, leading M&A advisory engagements and directing private capital raises and corporate venture capital investments. Evan is also a registered Patent Attorney. Evan focuses on the nexus of technology, intellectual property and investment banking executing primarily IP-centric M&A transactions and technology divestitures. He is registered with FINRA as a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.
