NetSuite 2017.1 Updates: Vendor Dashboard

The new NetSuite 2017.1 release includes many new improvements made to make your workday easier! One of these great updates is the addition of the Vendor Dashboard, which enables you to see vendor data like you have previously been able to do with Customer data in the Customer Dashboard. NetSuite now pulls the data from vendor records automatically and thus does not require the user to search records individually.

The Vendor Dashboard allows for fast and efficient access to your vendor information summarized in one location and eliminates the need to run saved searches or reports and filter them to a specific vendor. To open the Vendor Dashboard, click the View Dashboard icon on the vendor record or on a row in the vendor list.

In addition, the Vendor Dashboard already is set up with the following portlets:

  • a Key Performance Indicators portlet that displays important summary data for the vendor;
  • a Dashboard Links portlet with links to reports related to the vendor; and
  • a list portlet that displays the vendor’s transactions.

This is just a sample of the portlets the Vendor Dashboard already has in this update. You can also personalize the Vendor Dashboard with your desired content in each of the dashboard portlets.

The Vendor Dashboard is just one of the many additions from the NetSuite 2017.1 release. Be sure to check out our blog for more!
