NASA SEWP VI Overview
The NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP), pronounced “soup,” provides Information Technology, Communications, and Audio Visual (ITC/AV) professional services and product solutions to Federal agencies and their authorized contractors through a suite of contract vehicles. Federal agencies have relied on SEWP for more than 30 years to acquire mission-critical technology solutions and services in support of agency requirements. Established in 1993, SEWP was the first government-wide acquisition contract in the federal marketplace and has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of government customers.
SEWP delivers Best-in-Class value through streamlined procurement processes, innovative acquisition tools, customized reporting, premier customer service, and strong government-industry partnerships. The NASA SEWP Program Management Office (PMO) supports federal acquisition teams by managing SEWP contracts, facilitating acquisitions, providing acquisition guidance, and serving as a liaison between government customers and industry partners. As a centralized program supporting decentralized government acquisition, SEWP helps connect agency decision-makers, acquisition personnel, and industry to streamline the procurement process.
NASA SEWP VI is organized into three scope categories:
- Category A: ITC/AV Solutions
Technology products and related solutions (all business sizes). - Category B: Enterprise-Wide ITC/AV Service Solutions
Enterprise-wide technology and service offerings designed to support agency-wide requirements (all business sizes). - Category C: Mission-Based ITC/AV Service Solutions
Technology service offerings tailored to mission-specific agency requirements (limited to small businesses).
How to Obtain a Quote
NASA’s SEWP VI PMO maintains a Quote Request Tool (QRT) that allows customers to initiate Requests for Quote (RFQ), Market Research Requests (MRR), or Requests for Information (RFI). The QRT is accessible through the SEWP website: https://www.sewp.nasa.gov/sewpvi/dashboard/quote-request-tool/. In addition to facilitating submission of RFQs/MRRs/RFIs, the QRT automatically provides the Fair Opportunity groupings when selecting Contract Holders.
