Back-to-back transactions focus on specific expertise and scalability

CHICAGO – July 8, 2025 – Sikich, a leading global technology-enabled professional services company, has entered into two definitive agreements. One is to acquire Reason Financial Advisors, LLC, a Chicagoland-area wealth management firm, and the other is for Itascapoint, Inc., a Minnesota-based data center and cloud services company.

Both transactions are focused on sectors in which Sikich has invested over the last few years and/or sees long-term growth potential through scale.

About Itascapoint, Mike Kean, principal, Sikich, stated: “We’re acquiring specific expertise and companies that enable us to scale significantly in categories where our clients need support. Itascapoint adds scale to our existing cloud services at a time when demand among clients is high. We’re delighted to add them to our platform of services.”

In May of 2024, Sikich secured a minority growth investment of $250 million from Bain Capital to help fund its robust acquisition strategy, enhance operational excellence and cement its professional services leadership position. The transaction, in a departure from traditional private equity deals in professional services, leaves Sikich with majority control of the company and is testament to its track record and growth strategy.
