CHICAGO, Ill. – May 18, 2021 – Professional services firm Sikich has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work,” a certification that leverages 30 years of research to quantify the current state of workplace culture and how it compares to the best in the world. In a companywide survey, 94% of Sikich’s employees ranked the firm as a great place to work.
Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation. The institute uses a proprietary research model to evaluate applicants and certify top-performing companies who achieve at least a 65% positive response rate as a “Great Place to Work.”

In the Great Place to Work employee experience survey, 94% of Sikich employees said the firm is a great place to work, compared to 59% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Other noteworthy survey results include:
- 98% of respondents say management is honest and ethical in its business practices.
- 96% say people are given a lot of responsibility.
- 96% feel they are given the resources and equipment to do their jobs.
- 96% felt welcome when they joined the firm.
- 95% agree management is competent at running the business.
While the firm achieved its goal of becoming a certified Great Place to Work, Sikich is committed to maintaining its momentum and has set up action plans to continue its success. Notably, the firm has recently expanded its women’s leadership initiatives and launched a partnership with mental health app Ginger to offer employees access to mental health resources. Additionally, Sikich has expanded its learning and development program, Sikich University, to better support employees in both professional and personal development.
