InsureTech Connect Las Vegas is the largest of the InsureTech events, and recently took place at the Mandalay Bay over September 20th– September 22nd. The Conference is laid out over the course of 3 days, and the agenda is comprised of various presentations including solution demos, many of which were focused on how the Insurance Industry and Technology work together to better enhance the overall client experience. In addition to the incredible learning opportunity, this is also a great networking event as it drives a community of people from all over the world interested in expanding their knowledge and footprint in the Financial Services Industry.
Who goes to InsureTech Connect?
Attendance is welcome from all over the globe, but you will primarily see attendees from within the Financial Services Industry, including Investors, Insurance Providers or Carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), Solution Implementation Partners, Solution Vendors, including Salesforce, and so many more!
Many companies and sponsors of the event set up booths all around the large expo hall as a home base where they can mingle with attendees and share information on their company or solution. One of the most popular booths (and my personal favorite) was the Puppy Lounge that Worldpay set up for the event. Worldpay had partnered with an animal shelter out of Los Angeles and allowed for attendees to take a break and play with the puppies while learning more about their product. They even offered up the opportunity for adoption if you lived within driving radius of the event.
While we were waiting in line to play with puppies, we learned that Worldpay is a Payment Processing Provider that works with Technology Businesses and has solutions that help to streamline the payment process for Insurance Companies. Worldpay has a couple of key focus areas that include- ensuring businesses the ability to accept online payments, as well as managing security risk by offering a secure payment system.

What do all InsureTech attendees have in common?
With access to the large gathering of Insurance Industry Companies and Leaders, all the attendees share many common goals. The one that stands out the most to me is that all attendees strive to stay up to date on the newest technologies related to the Insurance and Financial Services Industry. Everyone is eager to learn and is interested in exploring how solutions can come together to complement each other, and to continuously enhance processes in the Insurance space.
Personal experience
This was my first time at InsureTech, and it was a wonderful experience. I had the pleasure of networking and expanding relationships with Clients, Prospects, and Partners. Some of my favorite memories from the event involved getting to connect with Sikich Team members in person for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
InsureTech 2023
Although we have just wrapped up InsureTech 2022, InsureTech 2023 is already being planned, and dates have been set for next year’s event!
