David Panicko of Sikich Honored as IIA Chicago Chapter’s William C. Anderson Member of the Year

CHICAGO – May 29, 2025 – Sikich, a Chicago-based leading global technology-enabled professional services company, announced today that The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Chicago Chapter has named David Panicko, an internal audit consultant at Sikich, as the 2025 William C. Anderson Member of the Year, the Chapter’s highest honor. This prestigious award recognizes David’s outstanding volunteer service and leadership within the internal audit profession. 

David served as co-chair of the IIA Chicago Annual Golf Outing and co-chair of facilities for the IIA Chicago Annual Seminar, two major events that are critical to the Chapter’s success in community engagement, fundraising and professional development. His dedication, professionalism and leadership significantly contributed to the planning and execution of these initiatives, helping elevate the Chapter’s member experience and outreach.

The William C. Anderson Member of the Year Award is presented annually to a volunteer who exemplifies extraordinary commitment and service to the IIA Chicago Chapter. Named in honor of a foundational leader in the internal audit community, the award celebrates individuals who go above and beyond in promoting excellence and professional development within the field. 

David Panicko’s recognition highlights not only his contributions to the IIA Chicago Chapter, but also the caliber of professionals leading innovation and impact at Sikich.
