CHICAGO – September 9, 2024 – Sikich, a Chicago-based leading global technology-enabled professional services company, is pleased to announce that two of its principals, Bobby Achettu and Cassie Crist, CPA, have been named to Crain’s Chicago 2024 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law list. Achettu and Crist are among 88 Chicago-area professionals at the top of their fields who have shown the ability to effect change in their role or area of practice, serve as a role model or mentor and have assumed leadership positions in their communities.
Achettu has supported the company’s global expansion and played a pivotal role in establishing its operations in India. Under his leadership, the India team operates as a Center of Excellence, delivering innovative work in areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotic process automation. In addition, Achettu is an adjunct faculty member at both Loyola University and Northwestern University, where he teaches undergraduate courses on global entrepreneurship and modern workplace culture.
Crist, an employee benefit plan audit practice leader at Sikich, manages over 600 benefit plan audits annually and collaborates across departments to address complex workforce needs. Beyond her professional duties, Crist champions community service and serves as the Sikich national champion for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She was a founding member of the Alzheimer Association’s Accounting Industry Leadership Council and is currently establishing the USO Accountants Salute the Troops initiative to support veterans, military members and their families.
