Sikich CFO & COO Ryan Spohn Named to Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Leaders in Finance

CHICAGO – July 14, 2025 – Sikich, a Chicago-based leading global technology-enabled professional services company, today announced that Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer, Ryan Spohn, has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business 2025 Notable Leaders in Finance. Spohn is recognized among 54 Chicago-area professionals at the top of their fields who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, driven meaningful change and served as mentors and role models within their organizations and communities.

With more than 25 years of financial and operational expertise, Spohn leads growth strategies, drives operational efficiencies and designs the company’s capital structure and equity incentive plans to align with the strategic goals shaping Sikich’s overall direction. As CFO and COO, he oversees the Finance, IT and Marketing departments, and serves on the company’s Board of Managers.

Since he joined Sikich in 2018, the company has expanded its global footprint, diversified its service offerings and completed more than 20 strategic acquisitions.

Beyond his professional achievements, Spohn is deeply engaged in the finance community. He is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI) Chicago, where he serves on the student awards committee, supporting aspiring finance professionals. He also frequently shares his insights as a panelist and speaker at industry events.

Spohn holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in finance, economics, strategic management, marketing and entrepreneurship. He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and international business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
