CHICAGO – May 9, 2025 – Sikich, a Chicago-based leading global technology-enabled professional services company, announced that Gary Barton Jr., principal has been named to the inaugural 2025 class of The Chamber ALX’s 40 Over 40 Awards, presented by United Bank. This recognition honors leaders over the age of 40 who are driving positive change and impact across the Alexandria, Va., community.
Barton was selected for his outstanding professional achievements, community leadership and personal commitment to Alexandria. At Sikich, he leads more than 150 professionals and is responsible for driving growth across the company’s District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) footprint.
With deep roots in Alexandria, Barton actively supports local nonprofits including The Campagna Center, Carpenter’s Shelter, ACT for Alexandria and the Alzheimer’s Association. He also served two terms on the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Board, earning the Chair’s Award and Board Member of the Year for his contributions.
The 40 Over 40 Awards were established to mark the 10th anniversary of The Chamber ALX’s 40 Under 40 and spotlight individuals whose wisdom, experience and service continue to shape the future of Alexandria. The 2025 class represents a true “Who’s Who” of leaders across industries who are making lasting impacts in the region.
The celebration will take place on August 21, 2025, bringing together honorees and community members to recognize this inspiring group of changemakers.
