Dynamics GP Updates Required for Functionality and Security

Any organization still using Dynamics GP, please be aware that Microsoft has released two updates. These two updates are required to ensure system functionality and security. Please be sure to reach out to your client account manager as soon as possible to discuss what is right for your company.

Dynamics GP Updates

If you are using the email functionality in Dynamics GP, Microsoft has announced you must be on the Modern Lifecycle (GP 18.3 or higher) to continue to use this functionality without issue by October 2022. If you are currently experiencing issues emailing out of GP, Sikich can assist to manually re-enable the basic authentication, then assist with the process of upgrading GP prior to October.
Microsoft has discovered a security vulnerability within Dynamics GP and has released a hot fix to apply to correct the issue. Sikich’s cybersecurity team can also conduct an assessment and ongoing assistance to manage security risks to keep your systems protected.

GP Workflow Functionality Error Discovered
