Established in 1978, Community Contacts, is a private, not-for-profit, human service organization that serves the Kane and DeKalb counties in Illinois. Community Contact’s mission is to assist elderly, economically disadvantaged, and persons with disabilities through programs that focus on housing affordability and that assist with housing rehabilitation, domestic energy payments, weatherization of homes and energy conservation. As a small organization with 22 employees, they have relied on Sikich’s human resource team to provide them with the most valuable and current information since 1998. In addition, they explain how the Human Resource Subscription Service has given them the ability to receive answers to questions in a function of their organization that is ever-changing and can be quite complex, regardless of their size.
