Senior Director

Nathan Hunt, CPP has spent his career managing security risks in high stakes environments. As a senior director at Sikich, Nate is part of a team of experts providing a full circle of support to clients looking to mitigate the risk of violence in the workplace. He helps clients assess and manage urgent threat cases and also advises on best practice-based approaches to workplace violence prevention and counter-insider threat.

Nate has decades of experience in program management, project development, risk management and incident command and control. He is also an experienced trainer, delivering customized programs in workplace violence prevention, active assailant awareness and response and counter-insider threat strategies.

Before joining the Sikich team, Nate worked for Hillard Heintze in threat and violence risk management and led major projects focused on counter-insider threat efforts. Nate also served as a supervisory federal law enforcement officer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security where he planned, directed and lead a DHS security taskforce charged with safeguarding critical infrastructure and protecting the public from criminal and terrorist threats. Earlier in his career, Nathan was a U.S. Army Special Forces officer and Detachment Commander.
