Jennifer Casacchia, CPA, Selected for AICPA Not-for-Profit Section Advisory Council

Jennifer Casacchia, CPA, is one of five individuals recently selected to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Not-for-Profit Section Advisory Council. By earning a spot on this council, Casacchia proudly represents Sikich and our not-for-profit services.

Casacchia is an Audit senior manager on the firm’s not-for-profit (NFP) and higher education practices team. She has more than 15 years of experience working extensively with not-for-profit and higher education organizations and has more than 12 years of experience in public accounting. Since joining Sikich, Casacchia has held increasingly accountable positions in the audits of various NFP organizations and of federal and state programs; she is a member of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) Not-for-Profit Content Advisory Group and the Not-for-Profit Committee. She has authored content for the AICPA Not-for-Profit Section website and test-piloted courses for the AICPA Not-for-Profit Certificate program.

The AICPA is an organization that represents the CPA profession nationally regarding rule-making and standard-setting, and serves as an advocate before legislative bodies, public interest groups and other professional organizations. The not-for-profit sections specifically serve individuals within the scope of NFP services.
