Sikich’s latest Manufacturing Industry Pulse survey found that only 58% of industry executives rated their optimism at a seven or higher on a scale of 1-10 (a 23% decrease from 2021). The top contributor to their lowered optimism was “inflation and economic decline” closely followed by “supply chain obstacles.”
