Form 990 Panel: Tax, Storytelling and Grant Considerations

June 17 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am EDT

Form 990 Return of organization exempt from income tax and blue pen with dollar bills lies on office calendar. Internal revenue service tax form
This June, we’re partnering with the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as part of our Not-for-Profit & Association Network program to dive into all things Form 990: the extensive, publicly available tax document not-for-profit organizations file each year. Join our experts as they discuss how to strengthen your organization’s Form 990 from three different angles: tax, storytelling and the grant process.  Participants will be able to earn up to 1.5 CPE credits for this session.
Attendees will walk away with:
  • An understanding of the technical schedules in Form 990 and how to avoid “IRS jail”
  • Best practices on effectively and eloquently telling your organization’s story through Form 990
  • Perspective into how Form 990 is evaluated during the grant review and due diligence processes
