Our featured speakers are Paula Cozzi Goedert, Rebekuh A. Eley, CPA and Larry Johnson, CPA.
Goedert is a partner in the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP where she chairs the Associations and Foundations Practice Group. She concentrates her practice on the representation of non-profit organizations, including professional societies, trade associations, charities and private foundations. She is listed in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the Non-Profit/Charities area.
Eley is a Tax Senior for Sikich, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, Aurora office with more than six years of experience. She graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy and is currently working towards a Master of Science in Taxation at Northern Illinois University. Eley is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and has served as Treasurer and Board Member for a local not-for-profit organization.
Johnson is the Director of Not-for-Profit Tax Services of Sikich, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, Springfield office with 26 years of experience. He is a graduate of Illinois State University, with a Master of Science in Taxation from Fontbonne College. Johnson is involved with a variety of charitable organizations, including the Central Illinois Planned Giving Council and the Sangamon County Community Foundation.
