Michael Stout- Partner, Senior Creative Director
Mike’s love of art goes back to his childhood. While other children could play with their toys in a “normal” fashion, Mike was more inclined to think of ways to redesign the toys’ logos and paint schemes. He daydreamed about a job where he could do the drawing that he loved (and still does) so much. The basis for that daydream began at Southern Illinois University where he earned degrees in Applied Arts and Advanced Technical Studies.
Inspired by the unencumbered minds of children, Mike’s favorite projects include illustration, photo retouching, game design and database construction with unique features... oh, and, of course, managing the creative staff at Sikich Graphic Design & Marketing Services.
When day is done, Mike enjoys a run, hike or any activity that involves his children. His one guilty pleasure is pizza, but he always wants to rearrange the toppings.

Scott Kolbe- Partner, Creative Director, New Business Development
One of the Sikich Graphic Design & Marketing Services chiefs, Scott’s passions include his family and virtually any competitive sport. Born in Tonawnda, New York, Scott received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University. He’s been living and working here in the western suburbs for over 30 years.
When Scott is in design mode, his favorite projects include logo design. He’s also skilled in virtually all aspects of marketing communications. As an partner/manager at Sikich, he prides himself in recognizing the natural talents of those he works with and utilizing that talent at the highest level.

Richard Byers- Senior Art Director, Studio Manager
When searching for unique insight into a creative task, Rick looks to nature. As Rick puts it, “Nature puts everything into perspective. It’s a huge canvas with so much to see.” He describes graphic design as having the opportunity to combine his love of art and an interest in printing.
Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Illinois State University, Rick loves to get his hands on the creative assignment that is fraught with minutiae, demands a great deal of planning and attention to detail.
If you need to bribe Rick, try chocolate. Or, anything that remotely resembles chocolate.

Colleen Hughes- Senior Art Director
Colleen is living her dream! She’s making a living by expressing her ideas, crafting innovative new concepts and developing them into unique, fresh and effective communications elements. A native of Lansing Michigan and graduate of Ferris State University (with a degree in Visual Communications), Colleen’s favorite tasks are logo design, invitations and publications.
Colleen derives inspiration from things around us that many of us take for granted... colors, textures, music, people, travel... virtually anything can help generate that next great idea.
This Sikich creative enjoys travel, concerts, interior decorating, family, friends and sailing.

Daria Corbett- Art Director
Meet Daria Corbett! Born in Warsaw, Poland and educated at Columbia College, Chicago, Daria enjoys creative tasks involving corporate identity, collateral design and websites. With the ultimate open mind, Daria finds new ideas in all of her surroundings.
When not designing for Sikich, Daria works on arts and crafts, outdoor activities and plans her next great travel adventure. If she had a superpower, she would wish to be invisible. Using that power would allow her to covertly observe people...and get into movies for free.
As a child, her favorite toys were Legos and her roller skates. Growing up she originally wanted to be a fashion designer.

Mathew Stout- Video Director/Photographer
Matt’s professional world is focused on video, audio and photography. Few can match his skills when comes to getting “the shot.” A born photographer and videographer, Matt is a master of quality, practical photography that gets the job done for clients.
When asked what inspires the fine photographer, Matt quickly answers, “Travel.” His love for travel is a fine complement for his love of the captured image. He’s thrilled when he can beautifully capture what he sees.
