Companies require independent valuations in a wide variety of situations including the reorganization of family-controlled businesses, structuring, implementing or unwinding executive participation plans, positioning a company for a public or private equity issue; redemption of shareholders’ interests; resolution of shareholder disputes; and a merger with or acquisition of another company.

Our valuation professionals are CPA’s and are affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), and hold the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) designation. We provide objective and independent valuation advisory services to clients who are seeking to determine the value of their business or that of a target acquisition in order to make a decision to sell or buy. We also are able to offer an unbiased view of critical assumptions and uncertainties in evaluating a transaction. Our knowledge and experience in valuing businesses across a variety of industry sectors enables us to assess complex situations surrounding nearly every type of potential transaction.
