Erin Meredith, CPA, CFE, CGFM, is a partner with extensive experience conducting performance, compliance and financial statement audits, attestation engagements, and compliance reviews of grant and contract funding awarded to higher education institutions, hospitals and not-for-profit organizations. Her experience includes participating in and managing engagements that test to verify compliance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) criteria, funding agency-specific allowability criteria, institution-specific policies and procedures, and contract/grant-specific terms and conditions.
She provides consultative services to higher education and not-for-profit entities to verify the reasonability, allocability, allowability and compliance of expenses charged to sponsored funding sources. She has also both performed and managed attestation examinations to evaluate an organization’s compliance with the U.S. Mint’s Compliance Procedures for Surcharge Eligibility and Payments.
She joined Sikich through the 2022 acquisition of Cotton & Company, a sophisticated leading organization in the local, state and federal government space.
When she’s not at work, Erin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, trying new restaurants and playing soccer.
